Despite having originally been announced as a launch window title, BioWare has confirmed that the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3 will be available for purchase when the console hits retailers on November 18th in North America, November 30th in Europe, and December 5th in Japan.

Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U will include the game’s Extended Cut and From Ashes DLC, the Rebellion Resurgence and Earth multiplayer packs, and a bonus heavy weapon all on disc. Additionally, BioWare has updated the Mass Effect Genesis interactive comic for the Wii U release. Similar to the PS3’s Mass Effect Genesis, the comic will provide back story for the franchise and let players make decisions at key story points that will carry over to their ME3 save file.

BioWare did not mention anything about the Omega DLC that will release for the other versions of Mass Effect 3 later this month. We will let you know as soon as details on future Wii U downloadable content is announced.
