Max Payne 3: Design and Technology Multiplayer Developer Diary

When Rockstar Studios unleashes Max Payne 3 this spring, it will mark the first time that multiplayer will be made a part of the series' experience. In the past, the development studio and its parent companies remained tight-lipped regarding what the incredibly interesting new mode will entail, but that secrecy has come to a partial end. This new knowledge comes to us thanks to a brand new Design and Technology developer diary, which shines a light on certain parts of the competitive addition. It discusses how bullet time was added in as an integral special move, while documenting two modes: Gang War and Payne Killer.

Max Payne 3 will dive onto consoles on May 15, 2012. A PC release will occur two weeks later, on May 29th.
