“Weaklings Need To Get Out Of My Face!” Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl Introduces Arthur In This Video

JRPG characters are the absolute masters of cheeky combat dialogue, but Arthur Charles of Atlus’s upcoming Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl must be vying for one of the all-time top spots.

Described as a “prodigy when it comes to alchemy,” Arthur seems to have some pyro-like tendencies concerning his elemental magic of choice in combat. The video pretty much speaks for itself, so be sure to be sure to hit the play button and check out Atlus’s press release below for all the savory details.

Oh, and don’t forget the pre-order perks – the soundtrack to Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl isn’t a huge selling point for me personally, but that art book is bound to be glorious. Puns.

There’s No Problem He Can’t Try To Solve with Fire

Etrian Odyssey Untold‘s Arthur – The Alchemist

Are you ready for some Etrian Odyssey Untold character introductions? You’d better be!

Kicking off this week, we have a look at Arthur Charles, the Alchemist from Etrian Odyssey Untold‘s story mode.

Don’t forget, the Etrian Odyssey Untold demo will hit Nintendo eShop next Monday on Sept. 16! Also, to settle some conflicting reports, EVERY pre-order and copies from the first run of Etrian Odyssey Untold will come with the “Untold, Unseen, Unheard” artbook and CD. It’s not limited to participating retailers.

If you are in North America and still need a review code, they’re going fast, so get in touch soon!

Though Arthur is a prodigy when it comes to alchemy, most of the rest of his past is a fog as the result of a traumatic incident that leveled his hometown. Arthur’s never met a problem in the Labyrinth he didn’t want to try to solve with fire, though the player also has the option to spec him out with ice or lightning formulas, if they must.

As the prime elemental damage dealer, Arthur is versatile enough to tackle all the enemies vulnerable to Fire, Ice and Volt magic but with the right Grimoire Stones, he has the utility to be more than a glass cannon if players choose.
