XCOM Delayed Into 2013

Don't worry, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is still coming out in October, so there's nothing to fret about there. This announce is for XCOM the shooter and is now going to be shipping in Q1 2013. The development is taking place over at studio, 2K Marin.

Don’t worry, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is still coming out in October, so there’s nothing to fret about there. This announce is for XCOM the shooter, which is now going to be shipping in Q1 2013.

This game was originally scheduled for release on March 6th, 2012 which was a delay that was originally moved from its Q1 2012 release window. Now, it seems like XCOM is moving ever so slowly into the future and who knows when we’ll see the game hit store shelves.

Will we see it at E3 this year? My guess would be a surefire no, but you never know what 2k Games could be planning under its belt.

I can certainly peg this game as being in developmental hell at this point.
