Turning to this brand new poster, the final stage of Katniss’ journey to bring down The Capitol and its devious leader President Snow is summed up by the tagline, “The Fire Will Burn Forever.” Running along the central image of the burning Mockingjay pin, finally breaking free, it ties in to the message of Part 1: “If we burn, you burn with us.”

Similarly, the teaser trailer focuses its efforts on the same motif, albeit while offering little new material. Honestly, it’s more of a catch-up of the franchise to date than a genuine tease, but it does pave the way for a proper trailer to bow in the near future.

The fire will continue to burn until The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 arrives in theaters on November 20th. Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore and Donald Sutherland will all return to star.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
