Thanks to the trailers released so far, we’ve built up a decent idea of which Infinity Stones Thanos will come by easiest. Namely, the purple Power Stone and the blue Space Stone. It’s fitting that it’s these Stones he nabs first, too, as they were the ones he was initially after back in The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Furthermore, the footage that’s been provided so far also gave us the impression that the Space Stone will be the first one Thanos retrieves, as it looks like he’ll attack the Asgardian refugee ship to get it early on. A couple of recent TV spots, however, have brought with them a very clear view of the Infinity Gauntlet and there’s only one Stone in it – the Power Stone.

At the beginning of the promo above, you can see Thanos raise his hand while surrounded by his adoptive children/deadly henchmen the Black Order. We’re pretty sure that they’re on the Asgardian refugee ship and it looks like the villain is about to use the Power Stone to destroy it in order to find the Space Stone.

The fact that Thanos already has the Power Stone raises a lot of questions, of course, as we don’t have too much info on how he claims that one as yet. It’s possible that he’ll already have stolen it from the Nova Corps on Xandar though (where it was last seen) before the film kicks off. That means that the bulk of the movie will then be geared towards his goal to take the Mind and Time Stones from Vision and Doctor Strange, respectively. We’ve also seen a leaked clip which features Thanos torturing The Collector for information on the Reality Stone.

The Mad Titan launches his quest for the Infinity Stones when Avengers: Infinity War hits cinemas in just two weeks’ time, on April 27th.
