Iron Man And Cap Are At Loggerheads In Leaked Avengers: Age Of Ultron Clip

One tidbit that cut through the white noise of Tuesday’s colossal Marvel event was the fact that Captain America 3 — now given the rather apt title, Captain America: Civil War — would instigate the third phase in the company’s shared cinematic universe. As such, the upcoming threequel quickly became one of the most important films on Marvel’s grand slate.

We already know that Steve Rogers and Tony Stark don’t meet eye to eye at the best of times, but in this leaked clip from Avengers: Age of Ultron, the pair have a rather snappy exchange of words whilst hiding from the titular villain — one which points towards the game-changing conflict that stems from the global Superhuman Registration Act.

That’s not all the information lurking within this clip, though, as Cap references the Maximoff Twins — aka Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver — who are, at this point in the film, still in allegiance with Ultron.

In the days following the announcement, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has remained as elusive as ever, stating that while the Civil War we see on screen will bear semblance to that found in the comics, it will be based largely on the events of Captain America: The Winter Solider and Avengers: Age of Ultron itself. Exciting times are afoot, folks.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will arrive in theaters on May 1st, 2015.

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
