Fandago exclusively debuted the extended teaser seen above, which features quite a bit of new footage of Jared Leto’s batshit crazy interpretation of the Clown Prince of Crime – including one quick glimpse of a passionate smooch with Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie).

Though The Joker does get several cool new shots and bits of dialogue, it’s pretty clear that Warner Bros. are holding back on revealing too much, since he is arguably the movie’s main attraction. That said, many fans have taken issue with this heavily tattooed, more “gangsta” incarnation of Batman’s arch nemesis – but really, after Heath Ledger’s universally acclaimed performance in The Dark Knight, was it ever going to be any other way?

Also starring Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Adam Beach as Slipknot, Suicide Squad hits theatres on August 5th, 2016.
