Infinity War Spider-Man Death

Relive Spidey’s Gut-Wrenching Death With New HD Avengers: Infinity War Clip

You know the one: it's the saddest scene in all of Avengers: Infinity War, which is an emotionally taxing movie experience even at the best of times. But if there's one moment that reduced Marvel fans and moviegoers into a sea of blubbering wrecks, it's the one where Tom Holland's Peter Parker succumbs to the effects of Thanos' mass genocide.

“Mr. Stark? I don’t feel so good.”

You know the one: it’s the saddest scene in all of Avengers: Infinity War, which is an emotionally taxing movie experience even at the best of times. But if there’s one moment that reduced Marvel fans and moviegoers into a sea of blubbering wrecks, it’s the one where Tom Holland’s Peter Parker succumbs to the effects of Thanos’ mass genocide.

So once those giant purple fingers have been snapped, and half of all life in the universe has been eviscerated, Spider-Man realizes that he drew the short straw, too, and falls into the arms of his surrogate father, Tony Stark.

That at-times hilarious dynamic (“underoos!”) has developed into a true pillar of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which only amplifies Spidey’s final moments. They’re now available to watch online in HD, too, given that Avengers: Infinity War can be picked up digitally as of today, July 31st – August 14th for those holding out for their Blu-ray/DVD copies.

This is just one of many HD clips to surface online over the past few days, of course, after fans were treated to an extended blooper reel of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes making very human mistakes – F-bombs, brain farts… that kind of thing. It’s a real treat for any MCU fan, and one that will no doubt help ease the agonizing wait for Avengers 4.

On a more serious note, Spider-Man’s heart-rending death is said to have a lasting effect on Tony Stark, who will begin the sequel as a broken husk of a man – or so says the latest Internet scuttlebutt doing the rounds online.

One thing’s for sure: Iron Man will be back for round two once Avengers 4 makes its mighty debut on May 3rd, 2019. And, yes, that is the correct release date for now.
