WGTC Radio #7 – Discussing The Dark Knight Rises

WGTC Radio #7 Discussing The Dark Knight Rises

It’s time for another episode of WGTC Radio, the official podcast of We Got This Covered! Remember, you can subscribe for free in iTunes by following this link!

This week, hosts Jonathan Lack and Sean Chapman lead a spirited, in-depth discussion on the year’s biggest film, The Dark Knight Rises. While our opinions on the movie are slightly different, we both agree it’s an admirable, ambitious work, and that means there’s a ton to talk about. We dive into every character and many narrative and thematic points to deliver the most detailed discussion possible, and once the main commentary is complete, we move on to share our hopes for what the next Batman series will deliver, and even some thoughts on the new Man of Steel trailer!

You can also read Jonathan’s exhaustive written take on the film, “Imagine the Fire,” for more insightful analysis.

Enjoy today’s show, and we’ll see you next week!

I don’t think it’s illogical that he uses the voice when he’s in costume. I mean Christian Bale as an actor uses an American accent 24/7 if he’s working on a movie that needs him to speak that way. Even outside of filming. Until he’s done filming. I think it’s the same idea in that when he’s dressed up he keeps talking like that because he’s into that personality and side of him. He doesn’t need to but he’s switched on that side and he just keeps it going.

I agree with many of your criticisms and I like how passionate you are about it, but you guys are yelling way too much. Makes it a little hard to enjoy the discussion itself.

If you wanna keep doing it, think about getting better microphones (are you using one or two actually?) and using more compression on the recording. Sorry for nitpicking here, but I guess, you guys understand :-)
    Otherwise: great job.
