Earlier today, the amazing final trailer for Logan was released and it’s fair to say that the movie is shaping up to be one of 2017’s most exciting releases. Now, to accompany the latest preview, we have two cool new images along with a familiar poster boasting a fresh tagline: His Time Has Come.

Based on how good the movie looks so far, we’re fairly confident that that statement rings true. After all, X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a crushing disappointment and The Wolverine, while a huge improvement and a solid movie overall, has also been quickly forgotten by most fans. As such, it really does seem like James Mangold’s upcoming film is the solo outing that the character deserves.

As for the images, they don’t reveal an awful lot about what to expect from Logan, but we do get to see a tense confrontation between Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Pierce (Boyd Holbrook) as the claws come out. As was evident from the trailer, these two will quickly come to blows, but it almost looks like the villain might be taunting the mutant here – something which probably isn’t too smart.

The second image features a solitary shot of Wolverine with his, Professor X, and Caliban’s new home in the background. Located in Mexico, it’s here the mutants are hiding out, but when the Reavers come calling, it’s clearly because they’ve found a way of tracking X-23 to the location. Then again, the young girl has already proven herself more than capable in a fight, so the villainous gang shouldn’t be too much of a problem for our heroes.

Logan stars Hugh Jackman, Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant and Patrick Stewart. It’s currently set to be released on March 3rd, 2017.
