Calvin Harris Goes After Taylor Swift In New Single “My Way”

As promised, Calvin Harris dropped his new single tonight. Titled "My Way," the track has a definite tropical vibe to it and seems to be going after the producer's ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The digs aren't terribly blatant, but there's certainly a few jabs made at her throughout the song.

As promised, Calvin Harris dropped his new single tonight. Titled “My Way,” the track has a definite tropical vibe to it and seems to be going after the producer’s ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The digs aren’t terribly blatant, but there’s certainly a few jabs towards her to be found throughout the song, especially if you read between the lines.

The other notable thing here is that Harris is actually singing on the track, which we haven’t seen him do since 2014’s mega hit “Summer.” His vocals remain as reliable as ever though, and while the song itself is a bit low key, especially for a Calvin Harris production, and the lyrics leave a bit to be desired, we’re still digging it overall. Though it does get a bit repetitive, there’s no denying that it’s catchy.

“My Way” may not find quite the same crossover appeal as some of his other tracks have, but it’ll no doubt see a fair amount of radio play over the coming months and should prove to be another hit for the DJ, who recently announced that he may be done with albums and only release singles from now on.

Take a listen to Calvin Harris‘ “My Way” below and drop a comment letting us know what you think of it.
