Kanye West announced on his Twitter today that he will release a new album this spring.
“GOODMUSIC.THE ALBUM.SPRING2012,” West wrote.
The album will feature members of the G.O.O.D. Music family, presumably. So that means we can expect to hear Kid Cudi, John Legend, Big Sean and Common, among others.
The controversial rapper achieved much critical acclaim with last winter’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and he’s currently basking in the limelight with Watch The Throne, his compilation album with Jay-Z.
I’m not a huge fan of Kanye himself, but I can’t deny that his music is pretty phenomenal and I’m definitely looking forward to whatever he has in store for us with this new album.
