Lost Kings Tease The Good EP With Release Of “Marathon”

You could say that Lost Kings more or less found themselves in 2015. Now that they've zeroed in on their signature sound, they appear poised to dominate this year - and their latest track, "Marathon," sees them deliver more of their melodic, carefree sound.

You could say that Lost Kings more or less found themselves in 2015. Now that they’ve zeroed in on their signature sound, they appear poised to dominate this year – and their latest track, “Marathon,” sees them deliver more of their melodic, carefree sound.

Vocal contributions by Cosmos & Creature effectively counterbalance the shimmering synth work of “Marathon.” Subdued piano melodies give the song a dreamlike ambience, making it a fitting anthem for 2016 as more and more artists abandon the main stage sound for something more sophisticated.

“Marathon” is the first release from The Good EP, which looks to be the counterpart to Lost Kings’ The Bad EP from last year. The other track, “Something Good,” will surely follow sometime in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
