Hot off the release of his latest single, “Tear Me Up,” Aussie producer tyDi has dropped the accompanying music video. While his songs usually take on more of a progressive trance sound, this latest track certainly has a definite pop-y feel to it, making it a bit more commercial but no less enjoyable. In fact, it’s awfully catchy and very easy to move to, ensuring that it will get sufficient plays on dance floors across the world.

In a recent statement, tyDi had the following to say about his latest effort:

“I couldn’t be more excited about this track! Since the night Nash and I wrote the song, I just had this feeling it was special. Keeping it a secret for so long has been insanely hard. I wanted to go for a huge summertime feel — since moving from Australia to California, it constantly feels like summer, so maybe that helped. It’s been a while since I’ve made a straight up ‘party’ track, too. I’m pumped on this and hope my fans love it!”

As for the visuals, we watch as a computer nerd is dragged into a wild night of partying. It’s a fun little music video that suits the track perfectly, capturing its happy, high-spirited vibe.
