W&W Deliver A Big Room Remix Of The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down”

It's safe to suggest that The Chainsmokers' "Don't Let Me Down" featuring Daya will receive its fair share of remixes over the course of the 2016 festival season. NYC-based producer Jenaux offered up a "big room funk" rendition of the track last week, and now Dutch progressive house duo W&W have followed suit with a festival-friendly version of their own.

To be fair, though, W&W’s remix of the track only sees modest changes to the stems of the original. The producers almost seem to have recognized that the ever-so-Dutch hoover synth stacks they planned to incorporate into the arrangement only worked in small doses – and then subsequently realized that that’s all they’ve really had in their production arsenal for the last few years.

Nonetheless, with the kind of clout that W&W has, their remix of The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” will surely find its way into DJ sets throughout festivals worldwide. Check it out in the SoundCloud embed above and let us know if you think it’s deserving.
