Arrow Midseason Finale Promo Finds Felicity In Deep Trouble

Next Wednesday's episode of the CW's Arrow, "Dark Waters," is the show's midseason finale, and the network has been promoting it very specifically like we're going to lose a main character or two by the end of it. Of course, that's the smart thing to do when hyping up a pivotal installment of a long-running series, and there's every chance it won't happen - but this latest teaser definitely makes it seem like Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) is on her way out.

In the episode, Damian Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) turns up at Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) mayoral holiday party to seek revenge for Green Arrow targeting HIVE. In a previous promo, we saw the sinister villain targeting the titular bowman, but from the looks of this, he manages to get Felicity into his firing line, too. The poor lass is clearly having trouble breathing in that final shot, but still manages to tell Ollie she loves him. Awww!

A lot of fans find Felicity annoying and probably wouldn’t be too put out if she were to be killed off, but what do you think? Is it time for “Ollicity” to end? Tune in to Arrow next Wednesday to find out what happens.
