Daredevil Season 2 Promo Features The Punisher’s Ominous Words

A brief new promo for the second season of Marvel and Netflix's excellent Daredevil TV series has been released to celebrate the Chinese new year, and while it doesn't actually bring us any new footage of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher, his voice can be heard at the end, warning that it's time to pay a debt. Is he speaking to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), perhaps? More likely it's one of the many street-level criminals he has daily dealings with.

Is he speaking to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), perhaps? More likely it’s one of the many street-level criminals he has daily dealings with, but at this point we just don’t know.

What we do get in the teaser is a new shot of the Man Without Fear slowly rising to his feet while some Chinese lanterns are visible in the background. It’s not much, but with season 2 coming to Netflix in a just a little over a month, it shouldn’t be too long before we have a full trailer to sink our teeth into.

The fearless costumed vigilante of Hell’s Kitchen will return to the streaming service when Daredevil premieres its second season on March 18.
