First Set Pics For Daredevil Season 3 Herald The Return Of Karen Page

Deborah Ann Woll's shrewd journalist reports for duty in these early set photos for Daredevil season 3. Expect the Marvel hit to return sometime this year.

The Man Without Fear is returning to NYC – and he’s brought company.

In keeping with its production timeline, Marvel has officially begun filming on Daredevil season 3, and MCU Exchange has uncovered the first set photos to prove it. Embedded below, they feature an admittedly blurry look at Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), who’s back in the company of Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson and the rest of the gang following her small role in The Punisher.

Meanwhile, the second of today’s images brings us closer to Wilson Fisk – or, more appropriately, his folding makeup chair, which indicates that Vincent D’Onofrio’s brooding baddie can’t be too far away. As a matter of fact, Woll’s shrewd reporter appears to be standing in front of a New York hotel, so perhaps this scene has something to do with Kingpin’s inevitable return? Either that, or she’s on the hunt for a potential story.

Of course, there’s only so much information we can glean from two nondescript set photos. With that said, MCU Exchange’s report goes on to include an alleged scene description involving Charlie Cox’s Defender and an exploding car.

Essentially, this sequence was all captured in and around an abandoned warehouse, which, if true, proves that Daredevil hasn’t lost his appetite for taking down armed goons in their natural habitat. Besides, with Elektra Natchios ostensibly out of the picture following The Defenders, surely Matt Murdock’s next solo outing will place a particular emphasis on the Man Without Fear and his fractured relationship with Karen and Foggy.

What we do know is that Daredevil season 3 is now shooting across parts of the Big Apple, which is a sure-fire sign that Marvel’s premier Netflix series ought to be back on our screens before the year is out – ditto for Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.
