Still, we’ve been left wondering as to whom the big bad – or bads – for season 3 may be. As it turns out, Entertainment Weekly was able to turn up some information on one major villain we’ll be seeing. And, funnily enough, it’s someone whom diehard Arrowverse fans are already familiar with.

Believe it or not, one of the threats to be presented to the Waverider crew this year will be none other than Kuasa, sister of the Mari McCabe version of Vixen, the heroine played by Megalyn E.K. in live-action on Arrow and also voiced by her in the web series, Vixen. And despite not having been the voice actress to have previously brought Kuasa to life, Tracy Ifeachor (The Originals, Quantico) will be the one tasked with inhabiting the role for Legends‘ audience.

Now, if you’ve already seen the aforementioned web series that was later recut as one seamless experience known as Vixen: The Movie, then you’d know Kuasa is no longer among the living. Thus, we expect her to be plucked from some place earlier on the timeline.

Still, this should feel like new territory, especially when you consider that the Vixen she’ll be facing this time around will actually be her grandmother, Amaya, played by Maisie Richardson-Sellers. If anything, this’ll definitely make for some interesting television.

Legends of Tomorrow returns for its third season on Tuesday, October 10 on The CW.
