In “Phone Home,” as you can probably guess from the title, the Legends will find themselves in an adventure inspired by E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. When our ragtag heroes discover that Ray apparently dies as a child due to the time jumble that they caused, they travel back to the 1980s to find out what happened to him. It turns out that itty bitty Ray befriended a baby Dominator (the species first introduced in last year’s Arrowverse crossover). Not only does this make him wanted by the US government, but the Dominator’s mother is on his tail, too.

In the newly released photos below, we see Ray and newest team member Zari approaching the young Palmer as they try to help him. Meanwhile, Jax, Nate and Mick are working undercover to keep an eye on the boy. Take a look:

For more, here’s the previously-released official synopsis:

HELPING ONE OF THEIR OWN – The Legends learn that Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will die because they broke time, causing them to race back to 1988 to try and save his life. When they arrive, they are surprised to learn that young Ray Palmer has befriended a time-displaced baby Dominator putting him in harm’s way with the government and the Dominator’s mother. New to the ship and missions, Zari (Tala Ashe) must find her place and learn to trust the team. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) begins working on a secret project on the ship which makes Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Jax (Franz Drameh) suspicious. Caity Lotz, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Nick Zano also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Matthew Maala (#304). Original airdate 10/31/2017.

After “Phone Home,” Legends of Tomorrow season 3 continues with episode 5, titled “Return of the Mack.” From what we understand, it’ll see Arthur Darvill’s Rip Hunter make a comeback with his new team, the Time Bureau. Suffice it to say, it’s one you won’t want to miss!
