It’s time to meet the cast of Jersey Shore UK or Geordie Shore as it’s being called. The show is being produced by MTV UK and looks to be an exact replica of Jersey Shore, except set in the UK. The trailer was released today and it essentially mimics the opening sequence from Jersey Shore. It looks like the show will have its own Snooki, The Situation and Pauly D.
I’m not sure how well it will do, especially overseas. It may be popular in the UK but I don’t see it gaining much of a following in North America. I for one had a very hard time understanding the cast, their accents were quite thick. I’ll probably give it a watch but I don’t think it will hold up to the original.
