If you follow the series, you’ll no doubt be well aware that a big focus this year is Daisy Johnson/Quake assembling a team best known to comic book fans as the Secret Warriors. In this new footage, we get to see the team receive their name, though it definitely comes from what you might call an unexpected source.

Of course, Marvel has used the name in promotional material for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., so we knew it was going to happen at some point. Whether this is a tongue in cheek nod or they’ll be going by that name moving forward though remains to be seen.

For more information, here’s the official synopsis for the episode, which is titled “Purpose in the Machine”:

Fitz and the team enlist the aid of an Asgardian to unlock the secrets of the ancient monolith that swallowed Simmons, and Agent May is at a crossroads in her personal and professional life.

Tell us, what do you think of this new look at what’s to come in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Sound off below and let us know.
