‘Warrior Nun’ showrunner harnesses the power of Mark Hamill to take down the Trump family

A dynamic duo if ever there was one.

If ever there was a trending trio guaranteed to capture attention, it’s the Holy Trinity of Star Wars legend Mark Hamill, Warrior Nun showrunner Simon Barry, and former host of The Apprentice Donald Trump.

On their own, each one has the ability to cause widespread delirium on the Twittersphere for a multitude of reasons, but when you combine all three into a delicious cocktail of mockery and incredulity, then tens of thousands of retweets and likes are nothing more than an inevitability.

As fate would have it, then, Hamill indulged in his latest bout of Trump-bashing, something that’s only going to become more prevalent as the criminality of the Two Weeks Notice and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps star steals the headlines, with the veteran blasting the decision on the Trump family’s part to post a picture of the judge’s daughter on social media.

Using the longtime Luke Skywalker as a jumping-off point, Barry then seemed to confirm that his recent tweet was indeed misinterpreted as an outpouring of adulation for Taylor Swift, by tagging Hamill in a worthy GIF.

All sorts of celebrities have been coming out of the woodwork to offer their two cents on the ongoing Trump situation, but combining Warrior Nun with Star Wars was always going to be one of the most noteworthy. The campaign to save the canceled Netflix series may be ongoing and fruitless as things stand, but harnessing the most high-profile Force user of them all to double down on decrying the antics of Donald Trump should at least ensure Barry’s timeline remains a point of interest.
