And for those who have had their lives or families torn apart by cancer of various forms, it goes without saying that nothing is more of a humbling experience than a run-in with the terrifying disease. This is something which Khloe Kardashian experienced firsthand, and it looks like she’ll be going into detail about her ordeal on the upcoming wave of The Kardashians episodes.

After having a melanoma removed from her cheek not all that long ago, fans are undoubtedly concerned about Khloe’s wellbeing, and whether or not her brush with skin cancer is now a thing of the past or not. Let’s get into the specifics.

Khloe shared updates about her melanoma removal with her fans on Instagram last year before the saga was documented on The Kardashians, assuring her followers that she’s doing okay after the procedure. While Khloe has some scarring on her cheek as a result of the removal, for all intents and purposes she is cancer-free as of right now.

While skin cancer can be just as deadly as other forms of cancer if left untreated, its effects can be mitigated if caught early enough. In Khloe’s case, having caught and identified her melanoma before it could spread to other parts of her body, this means she’s managed to pull through just fine.

While this was a scary ordeal for Khloe, she recently revealed that this is by no means she’s encountered skin cancer – having had yet another carcinogenic mole removed from her back when she was 19.
