John Cena seems to be the only person making the easiest ‘Fast X’ joke there’s ever going to be

And he's living for it.

The Fast & Furious franchise has to be one of the most peculiar marvels of entertainment in history; by almost no metric could these movies be considered quality cinema, but the carefully crafted self-awareness in the storm of car stunts, bullets, and impossible stupidity makes the saga something incredibly special.

And you don’t reach that point without your filmmaking family pouring sheer, unadulterated love into the project, and it looks like one John Cena is happy to provide in the most hilarious and adorable way possible.

In the days leading up to and following the recent theatrical release of Fast X, Cena, who portrays Jakob Toretto in the film, has gone absolutely ham with the hashtag #FastXYourSeatbelts to the point where we can’t tell if he’s repeating it for the laughs or is just that in love with the phrase.

Indeed, audiences may have a blast with Fast X, but it doesn’t look like they’ll have quite as much fun as Cena’s been having with this hashtag.

The rest of Twitter, meanwhile, has taken to lamenting the missed opportunity for a film title that would have been right in the Fast franchise’s wheelhouse.

Of course, we still have a couple of Fast films in the pipeline before the series officially ends (although, we’re sure Universal will do everything in its power to prevent that), so there’s still plenty of time to make good on such a titling opportunity. And if it means John Cena gets to keep indulging in his new favorite pastime, everyone’s going to be a winner with this particular continuation.
