It may come as no surprise that the BTS army has once again ensured another extraordinary feat, but what may actually stun even the most avid fans, is that a three-year-old song has recently topped the charts in over 70 countries across the globe.
This past weekend, the lead singer of the internationally renowned South Korean sensation – BTS’ Jungkook – surprised fans by releasing a long-awaited song on all major platforms. Despite its initial debut on Soundcloud in 2020 during the group’s anniversary FESTA festivities in June, “Still With You” has finally made its way to all streaming services, and the impact has been nothing short of monumental, as we all witness the song shattering records left and right.
“Still With You” has finally been made available on music platforms ahead of the singer’s upcoming album release on July 14. The song has already been labeled by fans as one of the singer’s best feats, combining elements of R&B and jazz ballads. Another song, “My You,” was also released during the FESTA anniversary in 2022. Both songs had previously been shared through unauthorized channels on social media platforms and on SoundCloud, but his melodic and enthralling voice is finally legally enchanting fans.
Jungkook’s highly anticipated album, titled Seven, will become the singer’s first-ever studio album during his unmatched ten-year journey with BTS. It will be released prior to his enlistment in the mandatory South Korean conscription later this year, thus becoming the second-to-last member to release a solo album. After Jungkook, the last member to release an album before conscription will be V, whose first solo album is scheduled for release in the third quarter of this year.
As we all eagerly await the release of the new album on July 14, we can now enjoy the tracks “Still With You” and “My You” on the popular music platforms Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, and Google Music.
