‘There’s no going back’: Marjorie Taylor Greene says she just ‘ripped’ a reporter before revealing what she actually said

MAGA has turned on her, won't be long now.

Poor Marjorie Taylor Greene. On one hand, she’s made her name as a firm “America First” devotee dedicated to keeping America out of overseas military action. On the other she’s one of Donald Trump’s most ardent cheerleaders and has shackled her political career to his success.

So, Trump launching the nation into yet another disastrous war in the Middle East leaves Greene in a tough spot. Either she betrays “America First” or turns on Trump, making her either a hypocrite or a traitor.

It’s safe to say she’s feeling the heat, attempting to square the circle by saying that while she strongly opposes foreign intervention, she’s still wholeheartedly backing Trump. Reporters are asking her difficult questions as she insists “there is no split”, claiming that the notion they disagree is a lie invented by journalists. I mean, it’s not a lie, and everyone can see that, so this seems like a somewhat limited tactic.

Greene posted a video of her side of an interview in which she described this line of questioning as “bulls**t” and warned the journalist not to proceed (or… what?). She underlined that she’s “her own person” and that this means she can simultaneously oppose Trump and be his closest ally. It’s a bold strategy, let’s see if it works out for her.

Blood in the water, MAGA sharks circling

Unfortunately for Greene, MAGA appears to think otherwise. One of the top responses to her video was from MAGA mom Mila Joy, who indicated that MAGA is in the process of shoving Greene into an airlock and blasting her into space. In response to Greene’s insistence that she supports Trump, she said: “You DON’T. You proved it. There’s no going back.”

Blood is now in the water and the MAGA sharks are circling. Greene has, after all, violated the one cast-iron law of MAGA – disagreement with Trump will not be tolerated. This commandment may require you to sacrifice your dignity, job, morals, and self-respect, but that’s the price for remaining in MAGA’s good books. Greene has apparently put her morals first and is going to pay the price, and it’s all the more ironic that this is the one time she’s actually been right about something.

Greene was already running scared from a potential primary challenge, but now may be facing the soul-destroying prospect of her idol campaigning against her. Pass the popcorn, it’s going to be extremely fun watching these monsters tear chunks out of one another.
