‘Hmmm.. what happened?’: Piers Morgan joins chorus of doubters as dark chapter in Trump’s history is erased overnight

Is it a nothingburger or Trump cover-up?

British broadcaster Piers Morgan is echoing a common sentiment after the FBI quietly announced there is no ‘Epstein list’ and that Jeffrey Epstein, in their words, “killed himself.”

In a post on X, Morgan resurfaced a February interview from his show featuring Trump legal advisor Alina Habba, who confidently claimed: It’s incredibly disturbing. We have flight logs, information, names… that will come out.

Morgan’s caption: Hmmm.. what happened?” A fair question—especially for Donald Trump’s inner circle, who once promised bombshells but now seem to be singing a different tune. With Trump a known Epstein associate, the question stands: Is it the truth or a cover-up?

Trump’s FBI closes the book—and raises eyebrows

Habba’s February interview now reads less like foreshadowing and more like fiction. The Trump camp leaned heavily on insinuations that Democrats and Hollywood elites would be exposed.

Six months later, however, not a single name has been released, and the FBI appears determined to sweep it all under the rug. If anything, what’s being exposed is the absence of evidence.

Pam Bondi promised a firestorm, then lit a match and walked away

Habba isn’t the first Trump-aligned figure to tease major revelations in the Epstein saga. Back in 2020, former Florida Attorney General and Trump impeachment defense lawyer Pam Bondi told Fox News: “We’re going to get to the bottom of this. People deserve to know who was involved.”

Bondi also claimed, We have access to records that will shed light on who knew what and when.” Yet, here we are, five years later, and the FBI just slammed the door shut. Since then, Bondi, now Trump’s AG, has promised several similar revelations.

While the FBI denies the existence of an Epstein list, multiple civil lawsuits and leaked documents suggest otherwise. One document from 2015, unsealed in a separate case, referenced names such as Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and yes, Donald Trump.

Whether those names were on flight logs or merely named in depositions is still murky. But one thing is clear: the government doesn’t seem interested in clearing it up.

A “nothingburger” or Trump cover-up?

With Piers Morgan now questioning the official narrative, the Trump orbit can’t seem to decide if it wants to distance itself from Epstein or weaponize him. As Habba suggested, the truth will come out. But if this week’s events are any indication, the only thing coming out is the trash. And someone forgot to take it to the curb.
