Actor Scott Wolf has dropped the restraining order against his estranged wife Kelley Wolf, following a new temporary agreement about their children’s custody arrangements. The agreement was reached on July 15, giving Scott temporary sole custody of their three children.
According to Page Six, the new arrangement allows Kelley to have supervised visits with their children: Jackson (16), Miller (12), and Lucy (11). She is also permitted three supervised video or phone calls weekly with the kids and can respond if they reach out to her first.
Just before this development, Kelley had posted photos of her bruised arm on Instagram Stories, claiming she was a victim of “police brutality.” She stated, “I was held for 7 days, and they tried to keep me for 90. I will not be quiet anymore. I cannot be quiet anymore.” She also alleged she was thrown downstairs, suffered a broken wrist, and had head contusions.
New custody agreement prevents social media posts about divorce
The temporary agreement includes specific rules about communication, stating that neither parent can discuss the divorce with their children or talk about the children’s relationship with the other parent. They are also banned from posting about each other, their divorce, or their children on social media.
This comes after Kelley was reportedly placed on a second “involuntary hold.” However, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office has denied any involvement in police brutality incidents with her, stating that claims about their department’s involvement in a Sundance incident on July 6 were inaccurate.
The original restraining order was granted to Scott in June during their divorce proceedings. Court documents suggested that Kelley had shown ‘an escalating pattern of behavior’ that could harm their children, similar to Jeremy Renner’s custody battle, where he was accused of death threats and abuse by his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco. However, a source close to Kelley, who previously appeared on Real World, claimed the restraining order was “not warranted” and “cruel.”
The situation follows a previous incident where Kelley claimed she was put on an “involuntary hold” and was detained by Utah police and hospitalized last month. The complicated custody situation continues to develop as both parties work through their divorce proceedings, joining the biggest celebrity breakups that have involved restraining orders and custody battles in recent Hollywood history.
