Epstein lawyer admits Ghislaine Maxwell ‘knows everything’ about his powerful clients, claims Trump’s grand move is useless

Former Jeffrey Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz has suggested that unsealing grand jury testimony from Epstein’s case will not reveal key information about the late financier’s connections with powerful people.

Speaking on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream, Dershowitz explained that the important information is actually contained in “sealed records by two or three federal judges in the New York courts,” rather than in grand jury transcripts.

According to Politico, the longtime Harvard professor emphasized Maxwell’s crucial role, stating, “She knows everything. She is the Rosetta Stone. She knows everything. She arranged every single trip with everybody.” He advocated for granting immunity to Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence with a confirmed release date, in exchange for her testimony before a congressional committee.

The White House has recently encountered criticism from MAGA supporters after stating that a Department of Justice and FBI investigation found no evidence of an incriminating client list kept by Epstein. The situation became more complex when The Wall Street Journal reported that President Donald Trump had sent Epstein a letter with suggestive content for his 50th birthday, a claim that has led to renewed scrutiny of Trump’s Epstein connections.

In response to growing anger, President Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to request a judge to unseal the grand jury testimony from Epstein’s case. However, Dershowitz, who has represented notable clients including Trump and O.J. Simpson, dismissed the effectiveness of this move.

According to Dershowitz, grand jury information is limited in scope, as it is “narrowly tailored by prosecutors only to provide sufficient evidence to result in an indictment.” This suggests that the unsealing of such testimony may not reveal the comprehensive information that many are seeking.

Dershowitz’s recommendation to grant Maxwell immunity for her testimony presents a potential alternative path to uncovering information about Epstein’s connections. According to the former Harvard professor, Maxwell “would be willing to testify” if given use immunity, and there would be “no reason for her to withhold any information.”
