A Canadian mum with 34P-cup boobshas claimed a school teacher shamed her for not wearing a bra during the school run. But she fired back, saying that the real problem is envy, not her outfit.
When 27-year-old influencer and OnlyFans creator Lyla King dropped off her children at school one day, a teacher told her she “looked inappropriate.” Surprisingly, it wasn’t because of a short dress or a cropped top, but because she wasn’t wearing a bra. King has a large bust size, reportedly a 34P cup, and often goes without a bra because of discomfort.
Being a woman, she expected other women and moms to understand her decision not to wear bras. However, a school teacher failed in her judgment. One day, she claimed to spot a “snooty” female teacher looking her up and down as she was dropping her kids off. “As I waved them off, she said that perhaps I should rethink what I wear as I looked inappropriate,” King recalled.
King admitted that her boobs “get a lot of attention,” but normally, people don’t say anything. “They’re looking because they’re so big,” she understands. But even though it was the first time someone commented on her like that, it still sent her over the edge. Why? Because she wasn’t wearing anything outrageous.
That’s their problem!
King explained that she was wearing exactly what “99 percent of other mums wear,” a t-shirt and leggings. So, the teacher targeted her only because she wasn’t wearing a bra. “If they’re so offended by me not wearing a bra, that’s their problem, not mine,” King expressed her fury. She also had a sharp reply to women who imply she’s after their husbands simply because she has big boobs:
“You’d think other mums would understand how uncomfortable bras can be. But perhaps they are just jealous and worried that I will nab their husbands. Obviously, I’m absolutely not after their partners. If they’re that bothered, they should hide their husbands.” (via Adelaide Now)
For King, the remark was a symptom of a culture that assumes a woman’s body is public property. If someone sees large breasts and decides it is “inappropriate,” the shame is theirs. King says her size is physically burdensome, and years of bullying once made her consider reduction surgery. But now she embraces her figure and monetizes it online.
The creator has made it clear that she isn’t trying to seduce, distract, or flaunt herself at the school gates. She is simply doing her duty there, like every other mom, and happens to have a beautiful body that doesn’t conform to norms.
