‘He was about to name names’: Jeffrey Epstein’s brother tipped off FBI that Donald Trump authorized his murder

A new psychologist's report also reveals disturbing new facts about his last days.

Jeffrey Epstein had every reason to kill himself. If you go from a jet-setting life hobnobbing with billionaires to a filthy jail cell, knowing you’re likely to spend the rest of your life behind bars as one of the most despised men of the 21st century, why not end it all right then and there?

And yet… Massive questions remain over the guards stationed to watch over him, his cellmate, and his time in New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center. Now, with the partial and redacted release of the Epstein files, we have a little more information about that fateful night.

First up is that Mark Epstein, Jeffrey’s brother, tipped off the FBI that “Jeffrey Epstein was murdered in his jail cell”. He goes on to state that “I have reason to believe he was killed because he was about to name names. I believe Presient [sic] Trump authorized is [sic] murder.”

It’s unclear whether the FBI interviewed Mark Epstein about these claims or investigated them, or why he would come to this conclusion. I mean, we have to remember that while Mark may be the better Epstein brother, that’s a pretty low bar to clear!

Mysterious marks on his neck?

However, further curious information is revealed in a Bureau of Prisons psychology report dated July 27, 2019. The prison psychologist interviewed Epstein, who told him he’d been waking up with mysterious marks on his neck:

“When interviewed, he stated he still cannot remember what happened in SHU that caused the marks on his neck. He stated that for the 5 days before that he had only slept about 30 minutes each night because of noise in SHU. He stated he is anxious about going back to SHU because he stated he is going back to a place where he had gotten marks on his neck and he does not know why it happened.”

The report then goes on to underline that he has no suicidal thoughts, with the psychologist concluding that “he does not appear to be an immediate danger to self”.

The simplest explanation for this is that Epstein is lying and was hiding his suicide plans from authorities. In this version of events, the marks on his neck were from a failed suicide attempt, and he’s just saying he doesn’t know how he got them. After all, if he were determined to end his own life, he certainly wouldn’t want a psychologist’s report making that more difficult for him.

But then… there’s all that other stuff that muddies the water. And the glaring fact that Epstein remaining alive presented a clear and obvious threat to multiple powerful and influential people who doubtless breathed a sigh of relief that many of Epstein’s darkest secrets died with him.

Frustratingly, we may never know for certain. Even if a video somehow leaked of Epstein actively being strangled to death, those implicated would simply argue it’s a fake. Even if there were a deathbed confession from someone that they were ordered to kill him, it’d be dismissed as fake news.

Maybe one day the truth will emerge, but by that time, I suspect everyone directly involved will be six feet under, having escaped accountability for their crimes.
