MTG orders Donald Trump to drop to his knees and ‘beg’ for forgiveness over his unholy Easter message

Praising Allah doesn’t really fit the Easter spirit.

Marjorie Taylor Greene absolutely slammed Donald Trump on Sunday, calling his Easter morning message to Iran “insane” and declaring he’s “not a Christian.”

Early Sunday, President Trump took to Truth Social, posting a fiery message directed at Iran. “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran,” he wrote. He continued with, “There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”

Less than two hours later, Greene shared a screenshot of his post on X, and hit back. “Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.” Greene added that she knows “all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.”

I am still confused that Trump praised Allah, just saying

This Easter post by Trump follows earlier threats he’d made against the Iranian government. He’s been pushing back against their restrictions on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, especially with the ongoing U.S. and Israeli strikes in the Middle East. Just Saturday morning, Trump gave Iran 48 hours to open the passageway “before all Hell will reign down on them.”

As you may have heard, the Strait of Hormuz is a huge deal, as roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil passes through it. Its restrictions have definitely contributed to rising global energy prices, and we’ve all seen that at the gas pump here in the U.S.

Greene, however, sees the situation differently. She pointed out that the Strait is closed because the U.S. and Israel launched an “unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades.” She then pointed out, “You know who has nuclear weapons? Israel. They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.”

This isn’t the first time Greene has voiced such opinions. Once an ardent supporter of Trump, she fell out with him over his authorization of Iran strikes last year, among other issues. So, she’s been a vocal critic since this war began. She’s also explicitly accused the president of betraying his MAGA base by initiating another U.S. war in the Middle East.

Greene also reminded Christians that Jesus says, “Love one another and forgive one another,” including their enemies. She believes that “Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace. Not escalating war that is hurting people.” She ended her message with a strong statement, “This is NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024. This is not making America great again, this is evil.”
