A deaf passenger from Georgia was kicked off a Frontier Airlines flight after a flight attendant reportedly complained that the woman could not hear her instructions. Despite the passenger’s accommodation status being explicitly listed on her ticket, flight crew members doubled down and forced her off the plane while fellow passengers protested the decision.

The incident was captured in a viral TikTok video posted by legallyswiftie13, which shows the exchange unfold on the tarmac and inside the cabin. In the footage, a Frontier gate agent can be seen attempting to advocate for the passenger, pointing out that her accommodation needs were officially registered with the airline.

“Her accommodation for hearing… it’s on her ticket,” a woman can be heard telling the gate agent and the flight crew. According to the video’s caption, the crew refused to back down and decided to remove the passenger despite the agent’s intervention.

The video shows the passenger becoming visibly upset as she is forced to gather her belongings and exit the aircraft. Through tears, she addressed the surrounding passengers to clarify that she was complying with the crew’s orders despite doing nothing wrong.

“I’m not resisting anything,” the passenger told the cabin. “And I’m crying because I’m just embarrassed. This is so embarrassing. But I’m willing to go. I don’t want them to say I’m like resisting leaving or anything”.

Other travelers on board expressed outrage over the crew’s handling of the situation. One passenger called the decision “discrimination,” while another noted that the flight attendant in question went straight to the cockpit to press the issue with the captain. The confrontation is the latest incident to put Frontier under renewed scrutiny, coming not long after the airline drew criticism when dozens of passengers were unexpectedly bumped from a flight.

Incidents involving passengers who say they were treated unfairly during air travel have become increasingly common, particularly when disputes with airline staff go viral online. The footage shows ground staff stepping in to try to de-escalate the situation, promising to help the woman board a different flight.
