Wisconsin woman threatens to kill teenagers at a water park after they mock her wife’s weight: ‘That was embarrassing’

A Wisconsin woman’s visit to a water park ended in an alleged confrontation with a group of teenagers.

In a TikTok video, comedian Madison said she and her wife were waiting to board one of the park’s circular raft slides when a lifeguard began filling the remaining seats.

According to Madison, a group of three teenage girls boarded first before she and her wife were asked to fill the final two seats. She said the girls appeared to think the couple had skipped the line, even though the lifeguard was simply filling the raft.

The confrontation brought back old memories

She alleged one of the girls then remarked on her wife’s weight. Madison recalled hearing the teen say, “I guess you get to skip the line if you weigh more now,” before the group laughed. She said the comments continued as everyone approached a communal scale used for the ride, with another teenager allegedly adding, “I hope the scales okay.”

Madison said she initially tried to ignore the remarks but ultimately decided to confront the group before the raft was sent down the slide. She recalled telling the teenagers, “I f—g heard that. Don’t you ever talk to my f—-g wife like that again. I’ll f—g kill you.” Looking back on the exchange, however, she acknowledged that she had crossed a line, adding, “And that’s not how you should talk to minors.”

She then explained that a lifeguard intervened after hearing the commotion and asked what had happened. She explained that the girls had called her wife fat and claimed the employee appeared understanding before allowing the ride to continue. The incident joins a growing number of TikTok stories centered on public confrontations between strangers. 

Much of Madison’s video, however, focused less on the alleged confrontation itself than why it affected her so deeply. She said her reaction came from two places. The first, she explained, was wanting to defend her wife, saying, “that’s my wife. Don’t you ever talk about her.” The second was seeing the teenagers in “the same exact Abercrombie and Fitch bathing suits” worn by the girls who bullied her in high school.

The teenagers, she said, “looked exactly like the teenage girls that bullied me,” adding that it felt as though “everything is coming back full circle.” She said the encounter brought back feelings she thought she had left behind. 

After the ride, Madison said she apologized to her wife for escalating the situation. She recalled, “I’m sorry. That was embarrassing. I just don’t like when people are talking about you like that.” Her wife, however, offered a different perspective. “Madison, you know, they were probably talking about you, too,” she told her.

Madison said the comment made her pause. She later concluded that she likely would have been the subject of the girls’ remarks as well, noting that she weighs considerably more than they did.

The comments section largely focused on Madison’s decision to defend her wife, even if some viewers disagreed with how she handled it. One commenter wrote, “As a fellow plus size woman i appreciate it! bc nobody has ever done that for me” – a response that received more than 6,000 likes. Another offered support for the couple, writing, “They were truly jealous. You’re both so beautiful! Wow.”

Some zeroed in on Madison’s outburst toward the teenagers. One highly liked comment read, “I have a teenager and that is in fact how to talk to them. no notes. beautiful,” despite Madison’s own admission that threatening minors was inappropriate.

Others viewed the exchange with her wife as the emotional turning point of the video. “Her saying ‘Madison they were probably talking about you too’ just SENT ME,” another commenter wrote.

Stories involving body-shaming continue to circulate across social media, with many creators using TikTok to share experiences that have stayed with them long after they happened. Madison’s video ended on a similar note. What began as an alleged dispute over a water park ride became, in her telling, a reminder that memories of being bullied can still shape how people respond years later.
