This week’s PlayStation Plus update has revealed that all North American Plus subscribers will have the indie puzzle game Closure added to the service’s Instant Game Collection tomorrow.
Released in March 2012, Closure is a 2D puzzle/platformer that uses a monochrome black-and-white visual style in conjunction with light and shadow concepts to create a unique gameplay mechanic. While traveling though the levels in Closure the only objects that exist in the game are the ones that are lit up on the screen. Everything else is not physically there, and the lit objects cease to exist if they move into the shadows. Outside of the Instant Game Collection, tomorrows PlayStation Store update also contains the following four discounted titles for PlayStation Plus members:
- Critter Crunch – 80% off for PS Plus members (Original price: $6.99; PS Plus Price: $1.40) – A puzzle game where players take control of “Biggs”, a furry jungle creature with an “iron-clad stomach”. Biggs searching for “jewel-rich critters”, and can use his tongue to pluck them from vines and stuff them into the waiting mouths of larger critters. This sets off a chain reaction of exploding critters that drop jewels for Biggs to regurgitate for his hungry family.
- Alien Breed – 20% off during launch week for PS Plus members (Original price: $9.99; PS Plus Price: $7.99) – A run-and-gun shooter that features cross-platform multiplayer between Vita and PS3, and ad-hoc/local and online co-op on respective platforms. Features new content and enhanced visuals over the original Alien Breed, and is Cross-Buy enabled.
- Derrick the Deathfin – 50% off for PS Plus members (Original price: $7.99; PS Plus Price: $4.00) – A fast-paced arcade action title set in a unique aquatic world made entirely of papercraft. You play as Derrick as he eats his way around the world to avenge the death of your papercraft shark parents.
- NHL 13 – 20% off for PS Plus members (Original price: $47.99; PS Plus Price: $38.39) – The title is self-explanatory.
