If last night’s penultimate episode of Arrow‘s second season was any indication, thing are about to get crazy on the streets of Starling City. Not only are Oliver and the rest of Team Arrow facing off against Deathstroke, but the vindictive mercenary has an army of Mirakuru-injected super-soldiers at his side. It was also revealed that Amanda Waller has A.R.G.U.S. agents surrounding the city, ready to wipe it and all of its inhabitants off the map in order to stop Slade’s forces.

Needless to say, Wednesday night can’t come soon enough, as anticipation is at an all-time high for the season 2 finale. The show has done a remarkable job of setting up all of these exciting elements for an epic showdown, and judging by new images that have been released today, things are going to get even wilder.

Last week, we heard word that the League of Assassins would be showing up to lend a helping hand against Deathstroke, which has been confirmed by new images of Nyssa Al Ghul. It also appears that the Suicide Squad will make an appearance, in what looks like a Mexican standoff with Amanda Waller, while Oliver, Nyssa, and the Canary do battle with Deathstroke and Isabel Rochev.

Check out the new Arrow photos, along with the episode synopsis and poster, below, and let us know if you’re ready for what is sure to be an explosive finale.

>OLIVER MUST DECIDE ONCE AND FOR ALL IF HE’S A KILLER OR A HERO — Slade (Manu Bennett) moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver’s (Stephen Amell)life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver’s heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhilee, Diggle (David Ramsey) takes on Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) with a little help from some friends, and Thea (Willa Holland) turns to Roy (Colton Haynes) in her time of need. John Behring directed the episode with story byGreg Berlanti and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg (#223).
