After much confusion from across the community, BioWare has finally revealed the multi-platform release date for Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s maiden slice of story-centric DLC, Jaws of Hakkon.

As per the studio’s exclusivity deal with Microsoft, the single-player expansion made its debut on Xbox One and PC last week, leaving those who played the original game on either PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 high and dry as they awaited an additional announcement. Now, though, BioWare has taken to Twitter to set the record straight about the add-on and when we can expect it to proliferate onto other platforms.

In Jaws of Hakkon, budding explorers will venture to the southern hills of Thedas in search of information pertaining to the last Inquisitor and, crucially, his fateful encounter with one of the most powerful dragons the realm has ever seen. Boasting an array of new weaponry, items and a few in-game achievements, the expansion is currently priced at $14.99

As it stands, those without access to an Xbox One or PC will have to wait a full six weeks to experience Jaws of Hakkon on their own platform. Still, Dragon Age: Inquisition proved to be one of the best — if not the best — games of last year, with an incredibly rich world to explore and a tangible sense of player agency, so we’re hoping this port to other systems will be worth the wait.
