The first clip has been released from tomorrow night’s episode of The Flash, and it features the Scarlet Speedster battling it out with Dr. Light. Of course, the twist here is that this isn’t the Earth-2 Dr. Light; it’s her doppelgänger, Linda Park – Barry Allen’s ex-girlfriend – disguised as the villain in order to fool Zoom into arriving on Earth-1 so Team Flash can attempt to trap him.
Here’s the synopsis for the episode – titled “Enter Zoom” – which offers up more details about how the villain is going to factor into this instalment of The Flash:
After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) decides it’s time to confront Zoom and comes up with a dangerous plan. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth-2 Harrison Wells’ (Tom Cavanagh) life was like before coming through the breech.
We actually got our first look at Zoom last week, and you just know that this plan is going to inevitably backfire given what a formidable foe he is. Still, it should be very interesting to see whether or not this episode of The Flash is going to actually have the Fastest Man Alive and Zoom finally come face to face.
