For further information, here’s the synopsis for the episode – which is titled “Blood Ties” – courtesy of the network:

Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides to weaken Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) by going after his financial assets. Rip and Sara (Caity Lotz) infiltrate Savage’s bank, but are discovered by his men. Meanwhile, Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Rory (Dominic Purcell) talk Jax (Franz Drameh) into taking the jump ship back to Central City so they can steal a valuable emerald. Professor Stein (Victor Garber) guides Ray (Brandon Routh) on a dangerous mission. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Chris Fedak.

The promo doesn’t reveal much, but following the shocking death of Hawkman in tonight’s episode of Legends of Tomorrow, it’s clear that the team’s quest to take down Vandal Savage is about to be taken to the next level as they look for revenge against the sinister villain. Of course, it’s still early days for the series, so that’s not something we’re going to see happen just yet.

Regardless, with the description making it clear that more unique team-ups are on the way, Legends of Tomorrow just keeps looking better and better.
