The Joker Cracks A Smile In New Suicide Squad Photos

Suicide Squad seems to be the talk of the town these days, and given that it's roughly two months out from hitting theatres, it's not hard to see why that is. Anticipation is at an all-time high for the David Ayer-helmed release, which is due in large part to early word of mouth calling it mind-blowing and the fact that Warner Bros. appears to be so confident in the film that they've already ordered up a spinoff.

Suicide Squad seems to be the talk of the town these days, and given that it’s roughly two months out from hitting theatres, it’s not hard to see why that is. Anticipation is at an all-time high for the David Ayer-helmed release, which is due in large part to early word of mouth calling it mind-blowing and the fact that Warner Bros. appears to be so confident in the film that they’ve already ordered up a spinoff.

Make no mistake about it, folks, Suicide Squad is primed to be one of 2016’s biggest flicks, and Warner Bros. is kicking the marketing machine into high gear as we approach that August release date. After giving us new images just a few days ago, we now have another batch, this time hailing from French magazine Cinema Teaser (who recently debuted those stylish new covers).

This round of photos shows off all the familiar faces, with The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot and Rick Flag all making appearances, among others. Nothing is too revealing, but the Clown Prince of Crime looks suitably menacing while Harley is once again coming off as very badass. All in all it’s another exciting batch of stills and one that only raises our excitement for the film that much more.

Assembling a cast that boasts Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis, Suicide Squad will burst into theatres on August 5th, 2016.
