There aren’t a lot of movies to look forward to over the next couple of months, especially as most of 2016’s comic book adaptations have already been released. However, on August 5th, Suicide Squad will reach cinemas, and anticipation for the DC Comics film is at an all-time high.

The marketing campaign for the movie has already begun, and you have to believe that Warner Bros. will be pushing this one hard, especially after the mixed reaction to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice back in March (if Suicide Squad receives a similar response, the suits are going to be panicking even more than they seemingly already are amid some major shake-ups).

Thankfully, all signs are pointing to the movie being pretty good, and if you’re looking forward to seeing it, the newly released merchandise from DC Entertainment in the gallery above will no doubt be a must buy. With it, we get a new look at both Task Force X assembled and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and The Joker (Jared Leto).

The unique designs for some of Suicide Squad‘s characters was initially met with a mixed response, but fans seem to have come around to them, particularly in the case of the Clown Prince of Crime. Now we just need to wait and see how good he is in action – with an Oscar winning actor in the role though, chances are The Joker will steal the show.
