ScreenDaily is reporting Kingsman breakout Sophie Cookson has climbed aboard Netflix’s upcoming psychological thriller, Gypsy.

There, the British actress will star opposite Naomi Watts for a 1o-part drama series hailing from Working Title and Universal Television. Hatched by screenwriter Lisa Rubin, it is Fifty Shades of Grey helmer Sam Taylor-Johnson that will take the reins of the first two episodes, placing Watts in the shoes of one Jean Holloway, a tenacious therapist “who begins to develop dangerous and intimate relationships with the people in her patients’ lives.” We assume that Cookson is attached to the part of one of those troubled patients.

Whether that’s true or not will be told in time, but we do understand Netflix is readying Gypsy for a production start in New York City late next month. That means the platform will likely bolster the show’s cast before Watts, Cookson and Co. are ushered before the cameras. We’ll be bringing you all the updates if and when they break.

No word yet on a premiere date for Gypsy. Netflix’s latest one-hour drama is beginning to assemble fairly quickly, though, so don’t rule out the chances of Rubin and Taylor-Johnson’s thriller hitting the streaming platform early next year. Speaking of 2017, Cookson is also attached to reprise the role of Roxy in Matthew Vaughn’s action sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle. It opens on June 16, 2017.
