It’s been a major year for Flume. The Australian producer released his sophomore album Skin to great acclaim back in May, bringing along with it the successful single “Never Be Like You” with Kai. In the wake of Skin‘s release, Flume recently revealed his intention release a four track follow up EP, which he’s already offered up previews for. Now. we’re getting yet another glimpse at the track “Trust” from the upcoming Skin Companion, as it surfaces in an Australian car ad.
The new commercial runs just under two minutes and “Trust” is featured throughout the bulk of its duration, giving us a lengthy preview of the song. The track features a characteristic Flume production, with snappy percussion, futuristic synth pads and catchy melodies, while some female vocals make an appearance towards the end of the ad.
While it’s an unexpected way to preview new Flume ahead of its release, fans will no doubt be thrilled to get yet another taste of the anticipated Skin Companion EP, which is slated for a vinyl only release in November.
