When Barry Allen inevitably finds a way of undoing the Flashpoint timeline in season three of The Flash, we have no idea what sort of ramifications that will have. Sure, things will be back to normal, but that doesn’t mean the world will be exactly as it was before the Scarlet Speedster raced back in time to save his mother’s life.

One change we do know about though is that Barry will have a new workplace rival in the form of Tom Felton’s (Harry Potter) CSI Julian Dorn. Little is known about the character as of right now, but it’s previously been reported that he doesn’t like Barry and actually suspects that there’s more to him than meets the eye. Take a close look at the images in the gallery above and you’ll notice that it’s revealed he’s a metahuman expert, so it could be that he has his eyes peeled for The Flash.

Talking in a recent interview, The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing had this to say about how Julian fits into the series moving forward:

“He’s a direct result of Flashpoint. Barry’s had that lab to himself, but now he’s got to share it with this guy, who doesn’t really like him and is kind of prickly.”

Some fans are already theorizing that the character will end up being revealed as new season three big bad Dr. Alchemy, but that obviously remains to be seen for now. Either way, it should be very interesting finding out what sort of role he’ll end up playing in The Flash, especially as Felton has a history of playing hateful villains.
