New Justice League Pic Features A Glowering King Of The Seven

Jason Momoa's King of Atlantis stands tall in the latest picture to emerge for Zack Snyder's Justice League.

Production on Zack Snyder’s Justice League has drawn to a close, that much we know. But the 2017 event film continues to be an exciting source for comic book movie tidbits, even releasing a ruddy brilliant behind-the-scenes montage to celebrate the end of principal photography.

Now, thanks to an eagle-eyed fan account – as relayed by CBM – we have a new look at a glowering Jason Momoa in the role of Aquaman. Citing the ARGUS website, which still appears to have its metahuman section safely locked away for the time being, the set photo can be viewed in full below along with some other previously released stills and screens.

It’s not exactly one to steal the headlines anytime soon, but until Warner Bros. pumps out the official first trailer for Justice League, it’s a fittingly bleak picture of Arthur Curry. Could this be taken from before or after his heated exchange with Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne? Momoa’s musclebound hero is certainly deep in thought, that’s for sure. It also marks a change from the other Justice League photos that have surfaced online, particularly the one touting the actor’s affinity for Gibsons.

Shunning plans to spin out a two-part event film in the vein of Infinity War, Justice League will arrive on November 17, 2017 as a sole superhero blockbuster. Before that though comes Wonder Woman in June, and during a recent chat with WGTC for Keeping Up With the Joneses, Gal Gadot revealed that her particular version of Diana Prince will stand for love, justice and compassion.
