20th Century Fox may have already premiered an amazing first teaser trailer for Logan, but that mysterious Instagram account is still sharing some intriguing black and white images from the highly anticipated release. The latest shot doesn’t offer up any major new reveals, but it’s still generated some chatter online today.
Why? Well, because some people believe that this could be Channing Tatum as Gambit. Personally though, I don’t buy it. While some unexpected characters showing up in Logan is definitely possible, Gambit seems like a stretch, especially as the staff this unknown person is carrying only barely resembles the one held by the Cajun superhero in the comic books.
Tagged only with “Weapon,” chances are this belongs to one of the goons who takes on Wolverine at the beginning of the film. That’s a wild guess at this stage though, and for now, we’re just going to have to wait and see. Either way, one thing that’s becoming increasingly clear is that the movie will no doubt be one of 2017’s most unique releases.
Logan will bring about Hugh Jackman’s final appearance with the adamantium claws, and you can look forward to Mangold’s sombre flick hitting theaters on March 3rd of next year, when Jackman will be joined by Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Patrick Stewart and Eriq La Salle.
