But as last night’s episode proved, there are many more mysteries still to be uncovered as Westworld approaches its season finale. In the interest of keeping any and all spoiler-sensitive material in the dark, we’ll refrain from divulging story details here and with that in mind, the above promo for “The Well-Tempered Clavier” should only be viewed if you’re fully up to date with HBO’s acclaimed genre mash-up.

For more on the episode, you can sate your appetite with the official logline: “Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) reconnect with their pasts; Maeve (Thandie Newton) makes a bold proposition to Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) and Teddy (James Marsden) finds enlightenment.”

With only two episodes left to go, fans are now slowly beginning to turn their collective attention to the show’s confirmed second season. HBO is naturally remaining hush-hush when it comes to story, but thanks to Ed Harris, we now know that the Man in Black will indeed make an appearance when Westworld returns in 2018.

Speaking during an interview with BBC Radio 4 (via /Film), Harris revealed, “Yeah, you know, as a matter of fact, I was just talking to Jonah Nolan last night, who’s a creator of this thing with his wife Lisa Joy, and yeah, they’re doing another season,” he said. “They’re going to do ten more episodes, and I will be involved.”

Expect the penultimate episode of Westworld season 1, entitled “The Well-Tempered Clavier,” to premiere via HBO on Sunday, November 27. Tell us, what are your hopes, fears and expectations going into the finale? Sound off below and let us know!
