With less than a week to go until its release, deadmau5‘s eighth studio LP, W:/2016Album is finally almost here. Serving as the follow-up to 2014’s while(1<2), the forthcoming effort is one of the most anticipated records of the year, and the Canadian producer’s mau5trap label has now shared a new W:/2016Album minimix to push the excitement through the roof.

While every track from the upcoming album has already previously been heard, the new minimix serves as an interesting perspective as to how the record flows together, with each tune seamlessly mixed into the next over the course of five and a half minutes. There’s no surprise new material present, but it’s worth a listen anyways.

Though deadmau5 has been openly critical of W:/2016Album over the last few months, it’s clear the producer’s upcoming work is a cohesive collection of music. With more than its fair share of top notch tracks and some notable stylistic deviation, the new LP is shaping up to be yet another impressive addition to deadmau5‘s discography.

W:/2016Album is set to drop on Friday, December 2, and is available for pre-order here.
